First you start with a glass jar with three frozen walnuts in them. Unfortunately when they were given to me there were no nuts in them, but hey, husks are husks.

Then you add some hot water to start to unfreeze the walnut husks.

Then you agitate for a minute to get this…

after five minutes you get…

Note…there is little foam at top. And there was no popping or trapped air when I opened the jar. The jar will be left open when not being agitated.

Here is the next morning after a few minute agitation…

Note there is a lot more foam. The husks are still green in the water. The foam is so thick it starts to get that hardened effect like foam on a root beer float. There was a slight pop when I opened the lid, but not much.
